Wear a Red Shirt on Friday!
Legion Meat Draw!
Volunteering is a great way to have fun and, at the same time, make a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families. Legion volunteers get to give back to their communities, meet new people, and learn new skills. The Legion helps Veterans in need and Honours the Fallen by organizing community events and volunteering to raise money through a wide variety of endeavours, including the principle fundraiser being the Poppy campaign.
The Royal Canadian Legion encourages wearing red on Fridays (R.E.D. Shirt Fridays) to "Remember Everyone Deployed," supporting Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, and their families.
This grassroots movement, symbolizes solidarity, honor for service, and a reminder of those serving far from home. Join us at the Legion to share some comradery and enjoy your second beverage at a special price.
"Whoville" Themed Christmas Party
Come join your favourite people for a Dr. Seuss classically themed Christmas Party. No one likes a Grinch (even though we are supposed to stay 39 1/2 foot pole’s away - sorry for the bad Grinch/Covid joke.) So come check out the festivities and maybe meet Cindy-Loo Who.
More details to come.
